JOIN THE PW STREET TEAM!
Looking for a way to make some extra cash? If you answered YES to any of the above, the PW Street Team might be the perfect job for you! PW is looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in joining the PW Street Team. Duties include promoting the paper at various events through handing out flyers and giveaways, communicating with the public and taking photos. Must have weekend and nighttime availability and be 18 years of age or older. Hours may vary from week to week. PW-PHILADELPHIA WEEKLY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Editorial Internships at Philadelphia Weekly are offered to students and post-students who are interested in getting firsthand experience at an alternative weekly newspaper. At Philadelphia Weekly, interns have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the editorial process, while specializing either in fact-checking and research or in compiling weekly arts and entertainment happenings for Philadelphia Weekly's Eight Days Listings. For particularly motivated and talented individuals, there will be opportunities to write brief pieces for publication under the guidance of a staff member. Expect minimal grunt work and plenty of cool perks. Internships at Philadelphia Weekly are non-paying. They may be--but certainly don't need to be--used for academic credit. When reviewing applications PW considers, in no particular order, experience, research/writing ability, availability and enthusiasm.
